NW AB Regional Skills Canada Competition
Fairview Welcomes the Region
For over 16 years, the Fairview Campus of Northwestern Polytechnic has hosted the Northwest Regional Skills Canada Competition, a Team Alberta qualifying round in the Skills Canada Competition. NWP is proud to support Skills Canada to promote careers in the skilled trades and technologies to Alberta youth through this competition.
On April 18 and 19, 2024, our community welcomes competitors from across the Peace Country, and we are proud of their achievements. With 13 competitions taking place this year, NWP Fairview plays an essential role by providing a suitable venue, volunteers, and experts in trades and technology to chair and judge various competitions. Along with St. Thomas More School, and Fairview High School, NWP is hosting several competitions, including welding, carpentry, auto, video production, photography, robotics, and workplace safety competitions.
